Infrared Thermography

	Infrared thermography cameras produce images of invisible infrared or "heat" radiation and provide precise non-contact temperature measurement capabilities. Their use ranges from providing information on insulation integrity to finding areas where air is leaking from outside. When combined with a Blower Door, an infrared camera can quickly expose air leakage sites that are buried deep inside ceiling, wall and floor assemblies.

	This infrared photo shows the results of constructing a home with no insulation in the corners. The blue vertical line shows the corner of the room and had a temperature of 60.9 degrees. The nearby wall had a temperature of 65.8 degrees. A dresser on the left has a temperature of 67.6 degrees.
