Consulting Services

We offer consulting services that will result in you having a more energy efficient, safe, and comfortable home. These services are offered on an hourly rate basis and, if you have identified a specific problem, may be more cost efficient for you that a full audit or rating.

Example problems:

• Why is my bedroom colder that the remainder of the home?
• What can I do to prevent an uncomfortable draft?
• Why won’t my cooling system get my house below 80 degrees on a hot day?

Consulting services can also be used to help design an energy efficient new home or home addition. Here we team with your architect and/or builder to make suggestions and analyze proposed changes. While a new home is under construction you may want to use our consulting services to provide oversight to ensure that energy saving features have been properly implemented. We can also check your heat distribution system to find leaks so that they can be dealt with before they become inaccessible.
